Good value on HeatnBond

I needed some HeatnBond Lite for a quilting project. Found a 15% off code online, which made the price pretty good. Shipping took about 5 days to reach Denver, which was fine. The product worked as expected, good quality. Felt like a solid purchase for the money.

Reliable for my craft projects

This was my fifth or sixth order from Therm O Web. I always come back for their Deco Foil Transfer Sheets and Zots Adhesive Dots. This time I picked up some more of the iridescent foil and a new pack of Zots. Everything arrived well-packaged and exactly what I ordered, just like before. They're consistently good with their shipping times too, usually gets here within a week to my place in California. It's nice to know what to expect.

Love my new Deco Foil!

Just got my order of Deco Foil Transfer Gel and some more Black Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, and I'm already making things! They always have the best colors and the gel works so well with my stencils. My projects look amazing with the metallic shine. Delivery was quick, got to me in only 3 days. I'm telling all my crafting friends about how great Therm O Web is! Can't wait to order more, maybe some of their new stencils next time.

I'm looking for some fusible interfacing. What's the difference between their Lite and UltraHold HeatnBond?

S Sarah E. 2 months ago
Lite is for lighter fabrics, keeps them soft and drapey. UltraHold is way stronger, more permanent bond, good for things that need to stay put and probably won't be moved much.

Lite is usually for things like appliques where you want a soft feel. UltraHold is super strong, for when you really want to fuse two pieces of fabric together permanently. Think like, no-sew hems vs. a fabric patch that needs to survive a war.

Yeah, I got one when I signed up for their newsletter. Check their site, it should pop up or be linked in the footer.

They usually do. I think it was like 10 or 15% off for me last year. Just make sure to sign up before you buy, obviously.

Is Therm O Web legit? I'm seeing a lot of stuff on their site, just wanna make sure it's not some fly-by-night operation.

M Mike V. 2 months ago
Oh yeah, they're totally legit. Been around forever, super well-known in the crafting world. My grandma used their stuff.

Totally legit. They're a big name in adhesives and interfacing. You'll see their products in pretty much any craft store.

Anyone know if they offer a teacher discount? My craft club at school could really use some supplies.

J Josh F. 2 months ago
I'm pretty sure they do! I've heard other crafters mention a teacher discount. Check their FAQ or contact them directly, I bet they can set you up.

Yeah, I think I saw something about a teacher discount on their site before. It's not always super obvious, but worth digging around for. Good luck with the club!

What's their return policy like for something like an opened roll of fusible web? Decided I don't need it after all.

E Elena D. 2 months ago
Hmm, I think once it's opened, it might be tough for adhesives. They probably wouldn't take it back if the seal's broken. Most places are like that with glues.

Returns for opened items can be tricky, especially for things like adhesives where they can dry out or get contaminated. You'd probably have better luck if it was still sealed. Maybe contact their customer service to be sure?
